The Creative Theatre Workshop is open enrollment for students in first through eighth grade. (No experience needed!) High School students join us as interns to assist with designing and directing the production. You can enroll for one, two or three weeks of this workshop!

This Workshop takes place at MadCAP’s Studio. If you are looking for a full day program, this program can be combined with CAMP MadCAP morning programs which are  in another location.  MadCAP’s staff will travel on the bus with students to get from one location to the next.

Originality Works

August 4 – 8,

1:00 - 4:00 PM

In the first week of the Creative workshop,

students work  together to create a script,

 lyrics and music for original musical.

 

What Comes Next?

August 11 – 15

 1:00 - 4:00 PM

During the second week of students discover

all of the aspects that go into producing a musical

including designing and building sets, costumes

and props as well as directing and rehearsing the production.

On Stage at Last

August 18 – 22,

1:00 - 4:00 PM

During the third week of the workshop,

students finish rehearsing and creating the

musical and perform it for an audience.
